Spud Webb was 5'7 and he dunked, but at 5'5 I am not sure you can. You will need lots of room and get up a lot of speed to be able to dunk. You have to remember a lot taller basketball players cannot dunk at all. Good luck and I hope someone out there can help with the exercises. I can only give moral support.

u can go on www.airalert.com this program called "Air Alert". There comments on that website by the NBA players like Larry Hughes and Baron Davis. it will make you jump higher about 8-14 inches. I think if u gonna do this program u will dunk like Spudd Webb, Nate Robinson and other players.

I am assuming that you are still a teenager and still growing. I advise you to stay away from those ankle weights, don't want a prospective player to blow his knee too early. Half squats with weights for strengthtening the quads. Pylometrics and resistance training, and also you must train the explosiveness of your jump. Train you cardio for that, I'd recommend swimming on every off day.

I don't think you can... sadly.
I am 5'6 and i can almost touch the rim but there is no chance for me to dunk.
Actually there are two ways... illegally you can wear illegal shoes or you can just show off and jump and dunk from a bouncy thing.

Ankle weights and do jumping exercises, like stand still and stand up on your toes and go down slowly, do that a lot and it will give you more calf muscle..thus helping you jump higher.

Get those shoes that Spud Webb and other short players wore that allow you to jump higher.
