You have asked a very tough question being that I am not your doctor and don't know your personal stress level and eating habits. (I am a clinical psychiatrist).
Would sincerely hope that it is just stress or that you eat alot of fast foods with high levels of greese in the food.
All I can do being not knowing you is give you some of the different causes. (And lets pray that they are not one of the causes I give you, but just eating to much junk food).
Bacterial gastritis, infection that grows in the mocus-secreting cells of the stomach lining.
Acute stress gastritis, the most severe type of gastritis, is caused by a sudden severe illness or injury that does not have to be stomach related.
Chronic erosive gestritis, can results from irritants such as drugs, especially asprin an other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Viral or fungal gastritis, imparied immune system
Eosinophilic gestritis, may result from an allergic reaction to a roundworm.
I will leave out all the other possible causes, because I don't thing that you are an old person and I doubt that you have some known rare causes.
Check yourself out with your family doctor before you spend alot of money to see a gastronologist (specialist).
wish you all the best of health
