oh, i don't hate my name, I just wish it was something else sometimes. Any way I think the name from Facts of Life was "tooty" wasn't it? I got Tooty as a nickmane too.

I don't hate it but I wouldn't name my child that. It's not an ugly name, it's just not appealing to me.

I have a niece named Trudy. I like the name. I like some of the names from years back. I always liked the name Sarah too. I think you have a lovely name. I have seven children and their names all start with L and that is what mine and my husbands names start with. Now I wish i had gone another route. There are so many nice names that I coud have picked.I love the older names. That should have been the route for me to take. Be proud of you name. It is yours for a long time. God Bless.

Actually, yes I do not like that name. Sorry! I would say because, it's sounds old and frumpy sounding. It doens't sound like you like to have fun, or play outisde. Trudy sounds like a name that you stay inside all day, and a very quiet, shy person. I think you should choose a new name for people to call you, or think of a nickname.
