My boyfriend just found a nest with 16 babies in it & the mother was the size of an adult gerbal. she was gray with a white belly & very large ears. She even stood up on her hind legs & cllcked her teeth at him. what kind of mouse is this? It not typical for Cleveland OH.

Thats an offspring from Mighty Mouse!
jk perhaps a tame one let loose. It is not uncommon for mice to have a slough of babies.

sounds like a rat of some type, if you got a photo go to the local county extension and see if they can id it positively
