Do you hold back who you are ?

There is more and there is less. Depending on the situation, be it socially or otherwise, I do believe we all act in a different way no matter how much we say we 'always act the same,' and 'what you see is what you get.' The best situations to be in are when you can be yourself.

But of course, I think the world needs a little mystery. Half the fun of a relationship of any kind is getting to know someone. If everything is an open book there is not as much to look forward to. It's better to turn the pages slowly, discover if (someone) a book is worth reading all the way through. A good one you won't be able to put down and will read over and over again.

Without a doubt. I only reveal certain things to certain people. Especially when it comes to work - they think I am the most innocent, polite girl. They don't know that on the weekends I am out at the clubs getting drunk. Why taint my reputation as a hard worker who always goes the extra mile at work? Plus, I don't really reveal my true personality until I trust someone, i.e. a new friend. Half the fun of making friends is getting to know who they really are anyway so why give it all up upfront?

Oh yes, we're all like icebergs, with only about 10% showing above the water line. Very few people at work know that I can play the accordion and ride a unicycle, and that's just fine with me.

Depends on what company I am with. I work with some little old ladies that would freak if I got as crazy as I feel sometimes. I hold back for them. m

Not only do I hold things back from others,but I do it to myself too.Only over time can someone be truly known,but never completely understood.

sometimes i do but then i think everyone does. but the more i'm around someone the more of me they get to see.
