it cause theres this girl and shes freaking ugly can i change her look or better yet can i change her for another one. there are better girls on the sims 2 i havent had relations with her yet i want to wait until i get another one (if possible) if not ill just stick with her! NOTE: This is a video game not real life ok?

If you are already engaged to the girl you do have to break up the relationship by the other ways recommended, by cheating on her or fighting with her, or by being patient enough for the relationship levels to go down enough. You can flirt and fall in love with another Sim while you're engaged (or even married) & I think if you try to propose engagement with another Sim it will automatically bring up a pop-up window that she'll break up with you & will be angry with you. If you do go the route of marrying her anyway and using the cosmetic surgeon on her to change her facial appearance, be warned that even if you do change her appearance her original appearance will be what your Sim's children will inherit as part of their genetic makeup. But, and this is a once in a while fluke for me so far, SOMETIMES if you put an ugly Sim together with a decent looking Sim the resulting children actually turn out pretty nice. It all depends upon how extreme her facial features are. You could if you so desired, if you're not playing a legacy challenge then you could go into create a Sim, & create someone who is nicer looking & compatible with your Sim's chemistry turn ons and move her into a lot next door to your Sim. Then you should upon moving her in have visitors and it might include your original Sim you're trying to find a mate for. Then while controlling this new girl get a good relationship built up with them and propose to have them move in with her or even try when the relationship levels are high enough to propose engagement/marriage. Your original Sim will still probably end up with the bad memories of getting caught cheating and broken engagement, but it's up to you if it's worth the better looking mate.

No you can't change the proposal. But what you can do is just stay at the proposal stage and not get married. You can propose to another Sim, all you have to do is get the relationship level up and pop the question. If you have one of the expansion packs (University) you can change the physical appearance of the sim with a career reward (Dr. Vu's Automated Cosmetic from Show Biz).

Other things you can do is get into a fight with her and make her angry at your sim, then you can break up - the option comes up in the bubbles. That can go pretty quickly too. Another way to speed it up is to flirt and make out with another Sim where she can see it. She'll get furious and you fight with her to break up that way too.
You can always become 'just' friends again later if relationship points (the bottom ones) are pretty high. of course if you're making out with another sim, be sure it isn't the other one you want, or you might complicate that relationship too for a little while. :)

make the other sims cheat on that ugly sim and make the ugly sim find out and get her more mad so she'll leave the house and propose to the other sims or someone else.

tehn you can give her a make over face thing. i think it is there
