Aren't these avatars great? We're all the same age in them.
I'm from the generation that was too young to be at Woodstock, but old enough to remember it from tv news reports.
I used to think 50 was old. Now I think 75 is old. Perhaps Mick Jagger has something to do with that perception.

Oh for God's Sake!
How can you put a number on something like this!!! You can't!!!
If you are talking about people "old" is a state of mind not a number.
You can be young at 80 if your outlook on life is youthful, fresh, open and optimistic and you see every day as a challenge to do something new.
You can be "old" at 25 if you have a jaded view of life, spend all your time bitching and complaining, have no dreams or ambitions for the future and are set in your ways.

I'm not in the "younger" generation, I'm 41 1/2. I have always felt age is more a mindset, not an actuality. Meaning, the old addage, you are only as old as you feel.

I agree, I used to think that 30 was way over the hill, now that I am past that, 30 don't look to bad any more... to me now days, it is more like 60s or so... but then again, you are only as old or young as you feel

Old is simply a state of mind.
When you slow down, you get old.
When you don't consider any opinion but your own, you are old.
When you have great-great-grandchildren, you are old.
When you stop rockin to music and start rockin in a chair, you are old.

It's all subjective and relative. It depends on your perspective, kind of like changing camera angles.
