A different version of FFVII wich tells the story of Zack will come out on the PSP on December 31st in Japan.

As far as I know it's completely up in the air. Square claims the remade beginning was just a technical demo showing the power of the ps3. I really hope they do though!

According to Square, they say "no." Apparently, it depends on if the guys at Square get around to it since they're obviously working on other games. It'd kick *** too see it on PS3, I just hope that if it does come out that isn't as much of a disappointment as Dirge of Cerberus.

the fact that i don't want a remake has NOTHING to do with how sucky the game already is, i just don't want it brought to a new generation, it will change the game. and not in a positive way the way that FFIV remake was. it will be negative, like FFI was.

also, the PS3 will be backwards compatible, so you can just pop in your old PSX disc anyway

yes its said to be true and they even have the beginner movie of the game too.Its so cool looking I'm going to get it.Note:PS3 has 2 versions of the console 1 being $500 and the other being $600.
