Well I was visiting my little cousin at his first day of 3'rd grade, and while I was sitting down I heard two boys in the back of me talking about sex, orgasms, and they were cursing and using profane language. I didn't learn that type of stuff till I was 14. Just two months ago my 5 year old neice asked me, when was my two dogs gonna hump each other, and If puppies can masturbate. I was very appauled and shocked at how much these young kids know. Shouldn't they learn about education and stuff at an eairly age? Like the laws of physics or their multiplication tables, you know the positive things that are facing america today. Instead of what they saw their mommy and daddy did
last night?!

I agree that they should be learning important things like math and physics and hold off on the sexual information.

You say you didn't know about orgasms and masturbation until you were 14. I didn't know about those things until I was past 18, so you can see how generations mature faster and boundaries get dropped earlier as we go along.

For one thing, when I was a child, children didn't have 'rights'. They were "to be seen and not heard". Parents could whip them and mentally abuse them without any objections from anyone. Kids grew up in fear and weren't so quick to make demands.

Now, kids have rights and people more than willing to prosecute the parents, even if the parents are just reprimanding and trying to teach them to be good citizens. Some of it is good and some is really bad as you can see by the deterioration of morals and ethics and a lack of loyalty to country and family.

With parents needing to work outside the home just to have something in this lifetime, there is less supervision and bonding. Too much freedom for people too young to know how to utilize it for a better life.

It may reach a peak and return to the days of legged bathing suits and parlor dating - or it may go as far as it can go until there are no boundaries and anything is agreeable in society.

It still shocks me to hear preschoolers talk so openly about sexual things and to curse like brick layers. All I can do about it is say a little 'thank you' to the powers that be, that my own family is raised and I won't have to deal with this disrespectful generation.

I hope young parents will get serious and make some changes in the school system and social services so their kids will have a chance at some innocence and become productive citizens.

well, stuff like that is a lot more in the open than it used to be. i mean, kids can see it going on like anywhere now. and kids learn it from their bad parents, and then they pass that info on to their friends, and it starts going around the neighborhood and the school, so now all these poor lil kids are exposed to all this bad crap.

What's so wrong with knowing about sex? You make it seem like it's a disgusting act.
