The main one is uplift, fast uplift will not allow a stream to follow it's normal course or erode normally (e.g. Grand Canyon). The oposite but simmilar (relative) process, a base level drop will cause entrenchment. The river will erode down to "catch up" with dropping water.

Hey, I think its great that you can ask questions on this site. I could answer your question, but having looked through your previous questions I decided not to. I worked hard for my geology degree, as have a lot of other people. Perhaps you should look up the answers in a book rather than cheating like a lazy bum.
