I just saw a trailer for a movie coming out on Sept. 1 called "The Wicker Man" I thought this was already a movie, and not really that old. Maybe I'm wrong. Do you know when the last "Wicker Man" was released?

Yes already a movie and a classic one at that. What it lacked in budget it made up for in menace and acting. I think the ending was stunning and topiary would never be the same!! I wonder how the remake will stand up, the website for the movie is not that promising.

It was released in 1973 and stared Edward Woodward. It about a island community that has a secret which has to do with a cult, and the main character is a cop investigating the death of a girl and he finds out the secret, the end to the new version should be quite good, the end to the 73 film is both funny and weird but I have a feeling they will make the end to the new one much better.

It's a "reimagining" of a 1973 movie with the same title, starring Christopher Lee & Edward Woodward in the Nicholas Cage role.
