I live in Oklahoma...and we are pros at deep frying just about everything....sweet potatoes, pickles, tomatoes, twinkies, steaks(chicken fried), chicken, Snickers...the list goes on and on.

deep fried pickle spears are the sh*t! I almost didnt try them just because it sounds nasty...IM GLAD I DID! Oh and deep fried TWINKIES are good too!
