i am a beautiful, intellegent, talented, and sweet young lady. but when someone pisses me off, ...i can get really really mean. like my home girls say that when someone "trys" me,...i turn into a different person for that minute or so that i'm cursing them out. my question is......is that bad. you know,.... i treat everyone i meet nicely. but every now and then i meet some ugly conceded prima dona and she just really acts rudly to me. what should i do? keep this other "going-off" trait of mine, or should i just try to ignore them,..or give them some KIND curse word free advice.

You should never hold anything back. And never let someone treat u like crap or act mean to u and let them get away with it, u SHOULD set them straight. If not, all they will do is keep doing the same things!

Going off on someone doesn't make you the better person. Granted you do have to put some people in their place, but there are diplomatic ways of doing so. You don't have to act a fool to get your point across. You are also stressing yourself out when you do that and causing you blood pressure to rise. Give them a reply that is right to the point without cursing, or just ignore them. Some people just want to get a rise out of you. They are not even worth all that.

If your really looking for advice...my opinion would be if you meet some 'ugly, conceited prima donna' (which I hate to say but you sound like one) just ignore her. She has an opinion just like you do. Think of her as just another ***** with an opinion! Let it go....but work on that anger problem. It's definately a bad trait and could lead to someone or yourself getting hurt. Good luck home girl.

Well hey, sometimes a person deserves a good *** chewing so I wouldn't say you are necessarally 100% wrong there. However if you are concerned about it you may want to talk to someone about anger management techniques. There are people who can teach you to sort of side step the forceful response and replace it with something a little more restrained, and at the same time vent your anger in other ways.

U remind me of how I get when I'm driving, lol. I'm a very friendly and sweet person too, but when someone pisses me off on the road- all hell breaks loose, haha. But in essence, when people get me mad, I just try to let it go. The Bible says don't let the sun go down while ur still angry. I try 2 get over it as soon as possible. So many people r ignorant. It's our job to just let it go. Karma will eventually get them back. Let God handle it :)

Welll the truth is... you can do a number of things. Firstly seek out Anger Management classes...... Secondly.... seek counselling... or thirdly (the one I prefer)... be true to yourself.... you don't necessarily have to voice your 'displeasure 'but by all means think what you want, don't vocalise your thoughts... otherwise you end up stooping to the other persons level.

Just blow it off. Bc in the end, that person is getting just what they wanted, they pissed you off. I know how hard it is sometimes, but try to be the better person. Who knows, you may feel even better having the self control.

If you find your self going into "rages" over nothing, there might be a psychological problem. Other then that, just try to avoid people you know will set you off.

Ignor them, if you freak out on them they going to think that your jealous of them. Don't let them get to you. And honestly....if you freak out that bad over something as stupid as that, you really need to get some anger management of some kind.

you have a mean streak in you that's activated by hatred towards you. it,s normal, what isn't normal is keeping all that hatred built up inside you. someday you might cut loose on someone and really wind up hurting them, so vent away it releases pressure so it wont build up inside you. besides it makes one feel a little better when you have told someone off, doesn't it?
