I am very unique. Nothing like my mother, that's for sure. I am more like my dad. I think each person I have come across in my life has added a new dimension to my personality. Lessons learned, etc.
I think that is what makes people so interesting!!!

Oh no, honey...I've known a few lemons that fell off nice big sweet apple trees!!! As for me personally, I'm a little like my Mama and a lot like my Daddy, neither of which would be considered bad.

My Mom has an orchard. Those apples are all over the place. I think it's the same with people. We inherit some of our skills, personality, and looks from our parents, but we all have the capability of being who we chose to be - someone just like our parents or someone completely different.

I suspect it may be true. I'm 49 and as hard as I tried to be different from my parents, I see parts of them in me. Y'know what, now that I'm older I don't see that as such a bad thing. Especially if I can learn to keep the good and toss the bad (you have to do that with apples too).

I'd say I've disproved it.
But, have you met George W. lately? Daddy starts a war, sonny-boy goes to make the same war, on the same country.
Monkey see, monkey do.

I think I'm very different from the rest of my family except for a couple of members that I look alike with. My friend's/mom's bf's family has very similar family members though.

I was thrown violently from the tree by a tornado. Didn't drop anywhere nearby. Thank god.
