No! And as long as she's healthy and active you shouldn't worry. Don't put pressure on your child just because society says that girls need to be smaller than boys. If this were your son you were talking about, you would probably ask if he was too small.

Don't do that to your daughter and worry about health and not whether she looks like Nicole Ritchie.

A person's self worth doesn't equal their waistline.

Don't put that pressure on her because that will definitely cause low self esteem and she may then turn to food. Encourage her to feel good about herself and not worry what other people think. Teach her to look on the inside versus using a mirror to establish that she's worth something.

This is the biggest mistake parent's make. Especially mothers. AND DO NOT GO BY THE BMI, scientists are beginning to refute it's findings because matching a person's weight with their height doesn't take into account; muscle mass, family history, overall health etc.

Well fat is not nice to say. I am 12 and weigh 100 and my doc said that is norm. If she is active thats not bad cause muscle weighs more then fat. But if she is not active. It could be a problem. I would just say to your family( so it does not look like you are just talking to her) and say, from how on we are going to eat *healther*... key word

well I am almost 30 with 2 kids and I am 5'6'' and I am 127 pounds.. and I need to tone up a little but I look good still... But I have boobs too.. is your daught in sport and soild ??? or is she eating junk food... I think that is too much.... She need to work out a little more... and eat less junk food.. now that is up to you... cause you are the one that does the grocery shopping.. right so just change a few things and she might not even tell... good luck.

check the health of your daughter for a while, puberty forces to keep some deposit for the big grow. Don't worry for a months if she continues getting fat WITHOUT get taller, she must catch a diet.

I think it may be puberty and she will lose any excessive weight. Make sure she eats lots of friuts and vegaetable and 8 glasses of h2o

no i would just suggust trying to get her into dancing or something fun with her friends because she could be over weight or she could be very muscular also just eat healthy foods exersize and you can even try to make a chart to keep track of foods, outdoor activitys, ect.
