take a solid rb, like steven jackson, edgerin james or ronnie brown, pass on peyton, quality qb can be taken later, try some mock drafts to see some of the guys taken at the 8 spot

Don't take a QB that early unless TD's are worth 6 points, and then I still would have second thoughts on taking Peyton. This is who I would take.

1. Larry Johnson
2. Shaun Alexander
3. Ladainain Tomlinson
4. Tiki Barber
5. Steven Jackson
6. Clinton Portis
7. Rudi Johnson
8. Ronnie Brown

That is my top 8

Good Luck

This year you must build your team around the RB. Look for Rudi Johnson, Lamont Jordan or Steven Jackson. In the first round a Qb won't be a good choice even if it's peyton. Though if you think you can build a team in the early rounds by selecting a QB that's fine but then u must look for a Rb your nest pick.

Pick Peyton Manning

What type of league? 10 man, 12 man? How many pts. for TD's passing, rushing, receiving? I would advise you to take a RB and pass on Peyton. With your 1st 2 picks take RB's, look to Qb's around the 7th round.

I see different things - i have RB 1 thru 10, but not everyone does.

You're probably looking at Rudi Johnson or Lamont Jordan. Ronnie Brown would be okay there since Portis is probably falling to round 2 now.

If you could get Steven Jackson at 8, you should feel blessed.

wow at 8 id take edgerrin james if he is there he is underrated he does great every year and noe 1 looks at him i took him and LT every draft i could edgerrin james rudi johnson or steven jackson if any of those 4 are there than take 1 of them and if its a 12 man leauge u might have a chance to get 2 of them then you score big but with the first pick is there take the underrated Edgerrin james he is gona be too sick and he is gona have the same relief that he did in indy because there offense has so many weapons .

I would go with Cadillac Williams and then try to get Ronnie Brown early in the 2nd round.

Simple. Your favorite RB still on the board. If you go for any other position you will regret it.
