Both will do well.
We need new energy sources and the baby boomers will want better meds all the time. Only lawyers will be in higher demand by baby boomers.
PS take as many business electives as you can. It will help you a lot in the long term.

Biochemical will be big in the next 30 years.
Chem E can be good, but cyclical. Bio offers the opportunity to be involved in research that will be ongoing in the next 30 years.

biotech will be the best because it have less students,in future biotech will have great scope and one thing you would have the best xprnc.
