Just be nice. Dont get smart. Generally people will treat others with respect if they see that you aren't stooping to their level. Don't forget to add this person to your prayer list. I am with you, there is good in everyone, you just have to search for it in some people. God bless.

I've been dealing with the same problem for about two years... we were really close friends at first, then we had a bit of a huge blow-out and didn't talk for the summer. It was weird at school when we weren't talking with each other, so we made up.. I try to keep it at a really low acquaintance..like, I definitely won't come close to best friends anymore.. so I'm nice to the one who's being mean, and don't pay them an abundance of my attention, just enough to be on OK terms because I don't want enemies.

What price are you willing to pay for a friendship? Do friendships means taking nonsense just to be friends or have company around you?

Either you stand up to your friend and tell that your self respect is far more important to you than your friendship.

But first see where is this disrespect coming, how do you treat yourself, do you treat yourself with any respect, as that is what your friends might be picking on. Notice how you carry yourself around your friends. Do you make them feel superior to you or an equal, as an equal will never be your friend and be mean to you, as well.
People only treat us the way we treat ourselves, so start treating yourself with more self respect than you do now, your friends will follow automatically pick on it and emulate. To change the world around you, you first have to change yourself for that is where. it is all coming from.

And a person, who is constantly mean to you, surely doesn't think of you as a friend, and for sure doesn’t deserve to be friend.
People treat us bad only when we allow them to do so. Next time, raise your bar a bit, you deserve better.

Well, don't be a doormat and when ever your trying to be there friend and they are mean don't bother, this what you do, ignore and why is that because your depressing yourself trying to be there friend and whenever they treat you bad you feel less important so don't bother and find good hearted friends.

You don't...unless, of course, you enjoy being beat up.

Say adios...
