I bought a commercial seris Char-Broil stainless grill last year and I get a high pitched whine from the regulator when I am using it. Is this normal? Anyone else hear this also? I have never had a grill do this before.

Uncle Bob knows his stuff. There is a diaphragm that vibrates back and forth to equalize the pressure on each side. It is normal to hear a buzz, or whining sound.

Yep, they can whine and often change sounds when you turn up or down the controls.
