Of course God and Jesus are not the same thing. God created everything. God also created Jesus. Why would God need a son ? Does he feel lonely ? Why didn't God have so many kids after Jesus? Did he believe in birth control ?
If you think a little, you will find that God is one without family like us,without sons or daughters and of course without a wife because He is God.
Jesus was a prophet sent by God to people to guide them and nothing more. He had many miracles like other prophets. That doesn't mean to be a God. God can't have been put in a grave. God can't have been come to earth. He can do everything where He is. When Jesus came to earth, what did he do? He tried to tell people to worship God and as usual, some people didn't believe him and hurt him. Is it possible that God comes to earth and people didn't believe him but a few people ? If so, He would be disabled and God doesn't have disability. God is God and Jesus was a prophet believe it or not,but this is the truth.

God is the hand. Jesus is a finger on the hand. The Spirit is another finger. The Father is the palm of the hand.

God is able to detach his members, so that a finger leaves the hand, and remains alive to have life in Himself. This is what God did to fulfill His plan of redemption. God had to walk as a man, as the first Adam did. This is why Jesus prayed and had to resist temption. It's God's way.

This is why Jesus said that the Father has given Him life in Himself, as the Father already had life in Himself. It is why Jesus prayed to the Father, yet, claimed to be God at the same time. It is why Jesus said that the Father was greater than Himself. Just as the palm is greater than the finger...

This is also why He is called father. To be a father, something comes out from you. There was no Father until Jesus proceeded out of God...causing God to be 3. Again: Jesus is like a finger off the hand. The palm remains God...and is now the Father. Jesus is also part of the hand, so Jesus remains God..and is now the son. The Spirit was another finger...He too is God, but now God the Spirit. One God cause One Hand. But separately, still part of the Hand.

Get it? God is able to do things that man cannot do. God has His ways. His was was to be a man. That is why all creation happened through Jesus and Jesus was the first born of God. God would not make mankind, without being a man first. This is also how you know Jesus, Father, Spirit is the right God: He is willing to get down to the nitty gritty for us.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me. I write these things in a rush and perhaps have not explained myself properly.

So the Divine Power,God as us mortals call him, appears in the Bible as TheFather - God , TheSon - Jesus , and the HolySpirit.
Each unique but all the same, the Trinity as some call it, 'lives' inside ourselves.
We are build in the 'image' of God,so we are his children, that is why he is called 'Father',gives us free-will,love and the chance to choose,to learn right from wrong. Bad things do happen and by that He warns us.

And regarding to the Earth, why should one side be wrong, the truth is somewhere in the middle. In fact Terra was 'recreated' after the Destruction of Dinosaurs,it existed as a location but took such form and shape that it came to be after.
So that is when Earth was 'born' for the mortals.

Just think,God created all,and Adam Eve where in Eden; 'time' passed, though then there was no notion of time;and after a while,we don't know how long, they were exiled on 'Terra' and cast down from Eden (maybe a gate-way linking Earth to Heaven, the Lord's 'Castle' ) .

The answer to your question will be a lecture on TRINITY.

But before I say anything further, please note that "the secret things belong to God"

From the study of the bible, we find that there're three persons in ONE God! In simple terms, God has threee distinct MANIFESTATION. Remember, He is GOD! He can do whatever He wants to do!
In the book of Genesis, we're given an insight of the Tripetal God! i.e. God, the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. These are the "us" mentioned.
In His first manifestation to man, God showed Himself as ELOHIM, then later we see the manifestation of God, the Holy Spirit in the old prophets, Finally, Jesus Christ is introduced as God the Son. Jesus is the Word that was in the begining with God and that Word was GOD!
Hey, looks like I'm talking crap... oh yeah, but this is as simple as I can put it. It behoves man to accept the story or reject it. Take the sun for example... you find the sun up in the sky, then you see the light cast by the sun and then, you feel the heat of the sun but it is the same sun.
The bible contains most answers to man's questions about creation, life on planet earth and the future world. Don't let no one deceive you. It is the power of choice given to man that has made man to establish their own theory about creation. It doesn't matter how many bibles or religions. What matters is you accepting God on God's own terms as contained in the bible (you can use King James Version as a "guide")

God has 3 parts: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost (the Trinity). I don't fully understand it myself, but I believe I will one day. I believe God the Son was made into human form and sent down to earth as a baby. I believe that God is in control, but he does not cause "bad things" only allows them for a purpose greater than I can understand. So many of the bad things that happen, God uses for us to learn from or to give us opportunities to show His love to others.

God and Jesus are not the same. Jesus is Gods son. God was talking to adam in the garden of eden.
I think that god does have a plan for everything. Maybe you should read your bible more often, then you could answer your own questions.

Yes, it very difficult to understand in the begining because you have to study Gods word to truly understand it. I'll say this in short, you can't take one without the other, Father, Son, and holy Ghost. Three different personallities then still all God. I can't do any better then this right now b/c I don't have the scriptures I need to back me up. Study the word of God for yourself, get a concourdance, bible dictionary for starts. It will be amazing as to what to you will learn.

Jesus was the first creation of God. They are separate individuals. Jesus was sent to earth by God to offer himself as a ransom or an equal payment for Adam's sin (to balance the scales so to speak). God and Jesus are not the same person and Jesus told us not to worship him but the Father or God. Jesus is very powerful because God gave him that power but it was for a purpose so that we as humans could understand God's power and what He is willing to do for us if we do His Will. It's our decision.

We were created with freewill and, since Adam's sin, God has been allowing us to rule yourselves. As you can see, we're doing a lousy job of it. However, God has promised a time when will we live in Paradise.
