I just downloaded Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code for my mom's iPod off of limewire and put it on the iPod just like any other song.

You need to acquire the media in some format, aka CD or wav, or mp3. If you have to use software for ripping from cd to wav then you need a software program like Audiograbber. This CD ripping software rips to wav directly and then converts to mp3.

You can then transfer to your ipod.

Good luck!
