skiing req's more skill, snowboarding is probably more fun

Well, I only know how to ski - so to me Snowboarding requires more skill. Skiing is so much fun. A good run down a hill gives you such a rush and you just can't wait to get back to the top to do it all over again!

I think snowboarding is easier to learn than skiing, but takes longer to master than skiing. Another thing about snowboarding i feel compelled to mention is the falls--you get zero warning then you're flat on your face. On skis you usually know because you start chattering and you can control your fall a bit better.

Both have there plusses, but skiing requires more skill. I do both, I should know.
