Is there a product I can use to dye the inlay of a rose on my leather coat?

Something I can do myself without having a proffesional do it?

I do not think you want to dye it - too uncontrollable and could go where you do not want it to go - you could have alot of variation in the coloring too due to the natural texture of leather.

I'd suggest that you paint it with special leather paint. Then you'd be able to get the intricacies of the pattern and paint the leaves varying colors as you like...

Go to the craft dept. in your local Wal-Mart or you local crafts store and look for colored Sharpie pins made for crafts. They come in a variety of colors plus the Sharpies will give you control on where you want to apply the colors. They are much cheaper than colored leather dyes from the leather supply companies.
