Let's take the example of 1 3/4 + 3 = X. The EXACT answer is 4 3/4.
A rounded off answer is 5.
And an estimate would be that the solution to this problem will be approximately 5.
An EXACT number is calculated from the equation. A ROUNDED number is rounded off to the closest integer from the correct answer.
An estimated number is arrived at before the actual calculation is preformed.

An exact number is just that...A rounded number is just rounded to the nearest tenth, hundredth, etc. (e.g.: 11.67 rounded to the nearest tenth is 12). An estimated number is a guess, an approximation.

exact is just that exact. such you seek a number, AND THAT IS THE ONLY EXACT ONE. ROUNDED IS ONE WHICH HAS FRACTION OR DECIMAL AND IT IS ROUNDED TO A WHOLE NUMBER, AN ESTIMATED IS ONE WHICH IS A BEST GUESS NUMBER. sorry for the caps, hit the caplock button.
