I watched most of the World Cup in pub with my mates, when England were playing the place was packed out especially with girls.

I was happy to see all those women supporting the team, taking an interest, etc.
By half time we were all fuming because all they did was chat to each other, taking on the mobile, stand in front of the screens so we couldn't see and take no notice of the game what so ever.

I did see 2 girls actually watching the match but that was out of more than 40 others, i am all for women watching and getting into the game but this mass interest seems to be nothing more than the latest fad.

Maybe you should include a little background on this question, seeing as no one knows what the **** you are talking about.

Since when have women killed the atmosphere? It's the men that always get into fights and act like complete and total idiots.

Ahem, excuse me?
F**K YOU. I dare you to try to ban women from matches, see how many people would show up. Sorry, buddy, women make up a good percentage of fans. Some of the best football players out there are women. Hmm, could you get any dumber? No wonder you can't get any girls..
So, why don't you go worry about your receeding hair line now?

You MUST be a homosexual-HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU THINK ALL MALE FANS GET SO WORKED UP? (Sure, first thing you'll think, is: "The Game Itself of course"....WRONGO:) Indeed the game is the highlight of the reason for the guys being there in the first place,-BUT,take away us women, and you little boys will get so frustrated in the stands that you would start riots, WWIII, etc.-(Besides, do you actually think the games would be any better without us women??? Hell NO again-There are some seriously hard-core soccer fans.,some male, and SOME FEMALE!)
boy, you probably don't even have a "boyfriend!"

,you could say that and you might be right as I remember the days when hardly any women were at a match however if they accept the beautiful range of language that comes out then why should they be banned they aren't complaining are they, whatsmore its nice to be able to look at a feminine face

In this day and age, you're asking a question like this!VERY Sexist. If you wanna ask a question like this, please give some evidence to support your view!Women are just as passionate about football as men,why shouldn't we be afforded the same opportunity to watch a match?

Killed the atmosphere for who? Me? No! I miss the WUSA, honestly. I do love MLS and EPL, but I love women's as well, and I am a man. It's good to see FAMILIES in the stands at Crew Stadium, etc.

Perhaps, but I think women should definitely be banned from posting answers/asking questions on football in Yahoo Answers.

No, footballers should though and they could use the pitch for something interesting instead.
