Actually, the non-partisan types (yes, there are some!) that I've heard and read have all proclaimed Nasrullah as the victor.
I'm coming around to that point of view myself. The reason is that this is one battle in a long war and the fact that Israel didn't crush the life out of the gangsters of Hizbollah in no time flat is seen as a weakness by their opponents.
This is going to lead the Iranians, Syrians, Hizbollah, and, possibly, Hamas to take action again sooner than they would have otherwise. And, that action may be bolder than a cross-border kidnapping.
That's the strategic view. In terms of tactics - Hizbollah got their rear ends kicked well and good.

It is self delusional propaganda. It was a "police action" with no clear winner, but the losers who have to save face so they tell the world they won; I guess the fact that all of them are not in the grave is winning to them. Kind of funny when you think of it, since they all want to die in a Jihad for Allan and go to heaven, anyway. So maybe annihilation is winning to them, too.

My brother! Destroyed buildings are repairable. But destroyed respect is not! I mean befor this war Israel army was known as a non breakable army. But this army couldn't gain any of it's objects of war!!

There are no winners but there are losers.Israel lost more of its credibility and lost more of world sympathy.Lebanon lost many of its innocent civilians and infrastructures.
