Does anyone else think it's crazy that this guy is still being given the benefit of the doubt, even after he confesses to killing JonBenet Ramsey. Not only did he confess, he went on to tell us how in love with this girl he was. Then reports come out that he has an obsession with little children. I think it's sick and he should be thrown in prison with the other child offenders.

We're all entitled to a trial under the American system of justice. It's one of the "freedoms" our forefathers fought for.

Someone below worries that he'll be put back on the street. There's at least one warrant on him for child pornography in CA, so he'll be jailed for that.

from the reports, I didn't feel as though he was being given the "benefit of the doubt," investigators are just trying to make absolutely sure that he is not just another nut-case trying to get his "fifteen minutes of fame."

you're right about the other kids. i thought it was pretty sick that he was allowed to substitute at all. but has he ever been found guilty of sexually offending any of them? This I ask because I honestly do not know. He DOES look like a weirdo and I would want to put him in jail because he seems very off-balance. but I don't think he can be placed in jail for that, at least not with a 10 year old case hanging over him. it has been too long, who knows if he will even be found guilty. but one things almost certain: he probably won't be allowed to substitute anywhere in the U.S....

You are right, the man is sick in the head. But, if it turns out that he did not kill the little girl, but, just wish he was there with her at the time that she died? Then, that would make him a sociopath as well as a child offender. That is what the Prosecution is saying; his family (i.e. his ex-wife) explains that he was with family in Alabama and that there is no way he could've committed that murder. I mean, not only was he in love with Jon Benet, but with other little girls who were in the spotlight that had died priored to her.
Whatever they find out, just to know that this man is guilty of wanting to have relations with children, was in a country where there are child sex rings and 12 year old boys are pimps and the fact that he was charged in California with material of sex of children, that he is not going to be walking the streets anytime soon. If he did do it, then, the family would never have to have that suspicion of them being the ones that killed that little girl (and up to he actually said that he did it, I would have always thought that it was one of the parents like the rest of America).
Whatever the case may be, this man is a sick, disturb, motherf-u-c-k-er who needs to be put away for a long time, away from children! The sooner, the better.

If he was first arrested for harming a child then yes he should be jailed. However, just because he confessed to killing JBR doesn't mean he shouldn't have a trial. Innocent until proven guilty. If he is crazy then he needs to be in a mental institution. In my heart of hearts people that harm children or have these tendencies can not be rehabilitated and should be taken out back and......well you know!

God I'm sooooooooo glad you arent part of a jury. What happened to innocent until PROVEN guilty. By all accounts this guy is insane, his statement doesnt stack up, but thank god thats why there will be a trial and he wont just be handed over to a lynch mob with you at the head of it.....thank god also that hes not black otherwise you would have cut two holes out of your bedsheet and put it on your redneck head!!!!. if hes guilty I hope he is executed, but wait for the trial.

The man is innocent until proven guilty. The confession could be no more than the ramblings of a wacko who has become so engrossed by the crime that he wants to become part of it.

It's a false confession to gain instant fame, which you are obviously falling for.
