Well I'm probably not considered a regular, but here's what I'd say: 1: Never ask why Atheists are in R&S. Just do a search if you don't understand, it's been asked so many times. 2: Always be polite and respectful of the other members. Just because you don't believe the same thing doesn't mean the other person is stupid. 3: If when you type in your question and it comes up with a list of questions with the exact same opening, don't ask it. 4: Always use Spell Check 5: Never use chat speak 6: Come here to learn and share, not to make fun of others. 7: Enjoy yourself!

If it's been more than six months to a year, consult your doctor. You may want to see a fertility specialist.
If not, try the website www.fertilityfriend.com. This website will help you chart your cycles. This will help you visualize on your chart which the best days are to try. It is usually several days before up until the day you ovulate.
So the first step would be to track your cyles. This will give you a distinct advantage over just trying all month long.
If you're not sure how to chart your cycles, this website will also explain it to you.
Good luck!

I would suggest:
1. reading "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. This book is awesome. I was amazed at what I didn't know about my own body. IMO it should be required reading for every woman of child bearing age.
2. Start charting. I, also, recommend www.fertiltityfriend.com (free or a small fee for premium svcs.)
3. Use OPKs (ovulation predictor kits), I got mine from www.saveontests.com - much cheaper than getting them at the pharmacy. OPKs will tell you when you are about to ovulate and charting will confirm ovulation.
If after a few months of well timed intercourse, you are still not able to concieve, you and your dh should see a doctor.
www.sheknows.com in the ttc thirty-something catagory - there is a ton of information on herbals

Knowing exactly when you ovulate helps, along with checking out his sperm. One you have those two issues down. If you make love at the proper time, do not get up right after put you feet vertically in the air up against a wall (i know, it sounds ridiculous) and let things stay in there a while to have a chance to work. Also, take prenatal vitamins while you are trying. Also stop smoking, exercise, eat right. In other words do all the right things

Wait until you have been trying for a year. After that you and your hubby may need to see a fertility expert.

Hey, I saw your other question. It says "how do i show my boyfriend I am ready for the next step".... If you are trying to keep him, don't do it by trying to get pregnant. It just might scare him away! Instead talk to him, and tell him that you are ready to start a family, and get married ect! Then once god thinks it is a good time, you get pregnant!! Trust me! Baby Dust to You! (once ur married ;)
