Why the insult to the English ?
As a Belgian living near Waterloo, I don't think that the British would have been finished off by the Old Guard.
That day, it was not THE Napoleon of Austerlitz, some say that he was sick that day and I believe it.
He let Ney make a lot of mistakes without intervention (the charge of the cavalry against the British infantry come to early f.e.)
There was not enough coordination between cavalry, infantry and artillery.
There is a chance that he had driven off the British but it would have been a drawn as in Quatre-Bras.
Because Grouchy should have been still in Wavre and the French cavalry was eliminated Napoleon could not have stopped the English leaving the battle field.
And don't forget that the attack of the Old Guard was stopped by the English and not by the Prussians !

Non, the English would have beaten the French even without the Prussians though it may have taken longer, but Napoleon would had eventually made a mistake and the English would have been victorious. Having the Prussians helped and it started a long history of German domination over the French in war.

the Prussians didn't have as much as u seem to think at the defeat at Waterloo. it was to the fact that Wellington forced the French into a battle that Napoleon didn't want any body can look at the pics of the battle field today and see what the hell was he thinking. the land is full of hills and the English controlled the high ground. Napoleon forgot the first rule of combat never lead your troops over an open area when u don't have the high ground.and the fact that Napoleon didn't even go to the battle field because he couldn't even sit on his horse so his orders were relayed to the front most of the time they were to lat or didn't even make it.oh yea and the french still out numbered the English even with the Poussin's by there side. so the fact of all this is that the Prussians didn't have as much as u seem to think at the defeat at Waterloo. it was to the fact that Wellington forced the French into a battle that Napoleon didn't want u cn look at the pics of the battle field today and see what the hell was he thinking. Those Prussians keep causing you French problems. After Waterloo, they wiped the floor with you at Sedan in 1870 (Franco-Prussian War), then as the Germans in World War I (You guys did a bang up job without British and American help, but mostly thanks to our British friends), and, of course, the brilliance with which you French twats surrendered to the Nazi's in about 15 minutes. By the way, how did the colonial possessions in Africa and Southeast Asia work out for you? Hell of a job you did at securing the peace in the Ivory Coast a few years ago (America had to help because you guys can't get the logistics right for a mere 2500 troops). You gotta love the speed and efficiency with which the French can stick their heads up their asses.

yea without Prussian support Napoleon wouldve been able to concentrate his entire force on assaulting the English. Even though his cavalry failed miserably his artillery and the experience of the old gaurd would have been too much for the the English amy and its unexperienced commander. Keep in mind that before Wateloo the Old Gaurd had never been defeated in battle.
