I saw both last summer & really liked them...but I think the musical is better (maybe beacause it's more animated)
What do you think?

The music is great and there's a terrific story behind it. If you're looking for something funny and interesting to see that would be it. "You Can't Stop the Beat" is my favorite song from it.

Broadway & Movies can't really compare. There is nothing better than a good Broadway performance. . .so, I like that version better.

i prefer the musical...it is more powerful, and like you say, animated....but both are fun
