Depends who is in town. Usually the Angels and Dodgers are not in town at the same time. Dodger Stadium is very close to downtown LA. Angel Stadium is about 30 miles south, but allow a lot of time to get there on game day as the 57 Freeway is a parking lot. Check their websites for tickets. Both teams offer a ticket exchange whereby season ticket holders post unwanted tickets (hint, season ticket holders already have the best tickets). It's on the lower left of the main page for the team.

Don't restrict yourself just to the Dodgers and the Angels. One of the greatest baseball experiences is to attend a minor league game. Head to Rancho Cucamonga--not that far...it's a bit east of LA. There are also loads of other minor league clubs in the Inland Empire.

Dodger Stadium would be a good place to start. I would love to watch a baseball game there myself.

If you dont want to watch a game in an old outdated stadium just get on the S.D. freeway the505 south to get to petco thats right (the dog bowl)to see a Padres game..

la dodgers and aneheim angels. there's also several single a minor league teams not far away...and the sandy eggo padres are about 1.5 hours away.
