What's that got to do with anything - the London Olympics are going to be in the very worst part of London.

Oh please! Get off your high horse and just accept that South Africa is hosting the 2010 world cup!! There is nothing you or anybody else can do about it. Throwing crime into South Africas face all of a sudden is not going to stop South Africa from hosting the 2010. Everybody is not perfect and that includes countries too! Every country has their own problems. South Africa is hosting the 2010 World Cup whether you or anybody else dont like it! I'll be there and it is going to be FANTASTIC! Stop lifting your nose to everybody in South Africa and maybe you can realise the fun and excitement of this too!

There is crime everywhere, no-one in South Africa (including our government) denies that the country experiences crime. The country will cope with the 2010 world cup.

The world is full of violent crime - in Las Vegas I won't go anywhere alone because of the high sexual assault crime in that city. In SA we acknowledge that there is a problem and we are trying to sort the problems. Give the country some credit - it has come a LONG way from the raping and beating into submission of the majority of its citizens which the government treated worse than dogs and did not even acknowledge they were human. And yes, it will cope with the 2010 world cup.

Oi!

South Africa is dangerous, but only if you do stupid things. You don't stray out at night by yourself, you don't flash money around, you can be safe. You people are thinking it's 1994 all over again, but things have actually improved. Our country has its fair share of problems, but Rome wasn't built in a day. Make a friend with a South African and they'll look after you.

PS-since I've been in the States, I've seen more violent crime than anywhere else I've been!

So do you not think they have come along way in 20 years?

Do America deserve to host it?
Are the police and government in the UK doing a good job.

If you get your car broke in or a window smashe have you tried to get the police to come out?

South Africa has a lot to be proud of.
