I want to make my wife happier, in the things I do for her..

As a woman myself, happiness isn't something that can be purchased. It is found within many different circumstances that life holds. Your wife needs to recognize the wonderful husband she has. Many women out here are looking for men of your values and nature. :)

Are you having problems? How long have you been married or been with your special someone? If you have only been married or together a short time then feel your way and you will know what makes her happy. The longer your married or with someone the more you will know them and their wants.
If you have been married or with someone a long time and things are getting a little mundane and your wife/partner is not content with the way life with you has become, then spice things up a bit, tell her you think she is great, buy her some sexy underwear and do some really different things!
You say happier so she is happy. Are you happy?

Well I guess its up to the individual. For me, I would like companionship, for my man not to treat me as a slave but just as a human. When I come home from work.. for me not to have to walk on egg shells to see what kind of mood he is in before I can determine mine. Just the simple things in life would make me content. Good luck. You must have a lucky wife for you to worry about this. The men I am around could care less.

They are looking for a good listener and smiles. They would also like if you do the dishes and laundry with out asking. How about a flower or 2 once a month? Maybe a nice body rub! Or a nice long drive just the 2 of you:) But mostly listening and smiles:)

You should be the one knowing her best than any other person since she is your wife. For a period, pay atttention to what she likes or dont like. Woman is a hard-to-please species. But all you have to do is obseve. It could be money, material, love, affection, sex, leadership, business, family, chidren, status, ..... Then do the right thing that would pls her cos not everything you do for her suite her taste. You ought to try some.

It always makes me feel good when my husband remembers something that I said before. IE, he remembers that I liked a movie, or that I said in passing that I would like to eat at a certain movie. It is great to know he is listening.
Also, it means a lot when he puts a little extra effort into something. Like, when I was pregnant I said I was craving a taco from taco bell. He came back and had 10 different types of tacos! He didn't know exactly what I was craving. It was sweet :)

Thats an unfair question. Everyone is different and every woman wants different things. It no use the women on here telling you what WE want because we're not your wife. You have to ask her.

You would have to have a serious talk about it with her. She will be very moved that you care enough to try. Be supportive and accepting. Be open to her. Listen. Really listen. Be considerate. Put yourself in her shoes. I find that very eye opening. I try to always put myself in the other persons shoes. That way you can see how what you do or say or don't do or say affect her. Good luck. I'm glad your trying to make your wife happy. That is commendable.

do something small and special for her once in a while. leave little love notes in her pocketbook. maybe make a candlelight dinner for her one night. little things seem to make women the happiest. a lot of men think that a woman wants them to spend a lot of money on them, that's not what will make her happy. it's the fact that you thought about her and that you know her. let her know that you want to make her feel special.

You begin by realizing that we are individual people. I could tell you what would make me content, your wife very well may hate that! Your best bet is to ask her!
