I am almost 21 weeks along, normal weight and have seen my baby girl move during our ultrasound. The feelings I have had so far, though, are few and far in between, usually at night, and I have a "sensitive" stomach so I sometimes wonder if it's gas in there. However, for the past few days when I've been sitting down, I've felt what feels like a fish wiggling in my upper abdomen, far higher than I know my uterus is. It's only when I'm sitting and my stomach is crunched up more....could this be related to the baby moving and it is normal? It feels like a tickling sensation almost. Thanks!

it does feel like that.it is a like a lil flutter and yes you can feel it up there i know most people think of your uterus being small and that but it does press up against other parts inside so when you feel it some people may think of it as something other than what it is your baby moving around and stretching out on hie/her womb ( just rememebr if it is gas you have had gas prob a lot b4 especially if you have a sensitive stomache and if this is not what you usually get it is more than likely your baby).what i always did (and more so later in the pregnancy) but i would start out early when you should start to feel movements and place my hand on my belly and sit or lie very still and just keep my hand there and what would happen is i would start to fill the flutter right below my hand (and later the heavy kicks 3 boys and one girl and couldnt tell you who kicked the heardest felt like i had the steelers players in there kicking around a football) it is an awesome feeling and one i miss most i loved being pregnant ( when i wasnt sick ) (although in the later months right before delivery i get really bad thinking i am never going to have the baby my last 2 wanted to set up office i think in there)it is a great feeling when you feel them move and see them i loved to watch them move it was s o cool and i would try to figure out ok what part is that .it is so neat .well congratualtions on your pregnancy enjoy it good luck with it and before you know it you will know it is your baby and not have to wonder .

Sounds like your baby is moving, don't worry.
Soon, you'll be in no doubt as to what you're feeling, You'll be seeing your baby's foot poke out the side of your stomach, and your then your whole belly will be girating- it'll certainly cause some giggles, then it'll turn into 'ouch, my ribs!!!!'
But it's all good fun.
Just enjoy the tickling sensations while they last. You'll be feeling a football in no time!

When you sit down your uterus is cradled in your lap. The baby is moving due to possibly being a little cramped up. This is the way it feels when your baby moves. Like a little fish flopping around. Don't worry and enjoy it. Before too long it will be all over with.

I am 21 weeks pregnant right now with a little girl too! What you are feeling hunny is your little girl moving around in there. When my sweetie moves it feels little a big gurgling bubble moving up the front of my stomach to the top of my uterus. Sometimes it tickles alot and it feels like a little rumble of waves moving. Trust me this is normal and you will feel it more and more as each week passes. Relax and enjoy it! Congrats on your pregnancy!

that's almost exactly what I felt with my daughter and my son. That's perfectly normal, but if it would ease your mind, just talk to your doc about it. But just enjoy the feeling! That is one of the most awesome feelings in the world to feel your baby moving inside of you. Kinda like a little secret that the two of you can share!

it really is plausible, even with the very undeniable actuality that likely not likely that early. I caution: at this factor, your infant is largely shaped like a peanut now. There are not any limbs completely stepped ahead yet. I hate to assert it really is no longer plausible, even with the undeniable fact that. And, It also relies upon on what being pregnant it really is for you. maximum 2d/third, and so on time mom's be conscious kicks previously 'reason they comprehend what that is like. And, their ligaments, muscular tissues, and pores and skin are looser from the first being pregnant. yet at this factor, i might want to assert what you felt became per chance a "growing to be discomfort" that receives worse because the time is going through (no longer insufferable), and/or gas. sturdy success! quickly you'd be complaining about him no longer getting his feet out of your ribs! LOL!

No, this is not your baby. Unless she is moving at the top of your uterious and you stomach is touching it? But I doubt it. She is so small right now that it is normal to only feel her while you are being very still. If you were a gassy person before you got pregnant then it could be gass that you feel, but chances are that it is not and that it is the baby. It will feel almost like a 'thump" not a bubble, I don't know where people get that from...

yep normal. all of those things above the uterus are going to be pushed on. it can feel like the baby moving, but it is probably just the baby trying to get more room.
