It depends what email service you're using. On AOL, there is a function where you can recall the message by clicking "Undo". In Outlook, click on the reply you wrote and then click actions, "Recall this Message" and that should work. It will send you a message letting you know that it was recalled successfully.

If you sent it over the internet, you can't. If you sent it over a company Exchange server and you use Outlook, open the mail and click "Actions -> Recall This Message".

I have all my email programs set to have my emails I send also sent to the sent box.

if your talking about sent mail it should be in your sent box if u have it save sent emails
