I know this one is closed, but I still want to say something about it. What most people seem or choose to forgett, is that it clearly states in the bible "We were all created in god's image". That would mean that "god" itself is Homosexual, Hetrosexual, Transgendered, Two-Spirited, Etc, Etc, Etc. You cant stop one sexuality, to be completly effective, you would have to stop ALL sexualities.

Don't try to make sense on non-sensical subjects such as religion.

Well i dont think God is all those things but i do feel that God in way had a reason for doing what he did. I am a believer of Christ but i feel homosexuality in a way is ok, i think that God made everything and if people are homosexual maybe God wanted them to be that way, no one is perfect, except God and Jesus. I think that people who are homosexual should have ur love, like God says "We should love one another", yes to some its wrong but above that i would choose love for my neighbors not hate, many people use God as an excuse to go against homosexuality but God is my main reason for my love towards others. Everything did happen by chance, yes, but all by God's chances. What if those people who use God as a defense were not born christians what would they say. God set the world to be our test till judgement day, isnt that what our lives is all about, the road till judgement day. I do think that God made everything happened for a reason and whether or not this is a test, he is the one who created it, not us, so we should not try and play God.

We humans always consider ourselves worthy of questioning GOD and his motivations.....
And those people out there who refuse to believe in God always slam those who do.....

If you spend enough time looking and reading , you'll find that the reason for everything that leads us into the Laws of GOD...and all the purposes and the restricting the laws impose on people are in the end there to promote love.......Pure, unfettered by physical intrusion, emotional love......now days I personally doubt that many people know what it is or how it feels or have the ability to express genuine Love for others....
Homosexuality..????? what difference does it make...??? If you are christian and you've made the effort to tell someone about Christ especially if they are gay and your efforts are rejected ...you have the ability to walk away and forget about it...don't argue just walk....if they are a friend" like so many of mine" and you can stand the humiliation of being mocked and barked at and called a bigot.. then tally-ho charge on...
otherwise drop it...we all have a chance for salvation and you will be ridiculed for faith ... so get use to it and forget about the conflict between the gays and the church, we all will find out who's right and who's was wrong in the end...

We are in his IMAGE, meaning we look like him. With 2 arms 10 fingers etc. Image doesn't mean he goes around buggering other God's. Why do gay's want God's acceptance? They have already denied him. I think he made it clear what his intent was. In His eyes a man who lies with another man is an abomination. His words, not mine. Also, the point of life seems to be continueation, that's why the only toys we are given at birth are ones that create life. Why would he want us to use them in any way that wouldn't promote new life?

You know, alot of people throw the bible around in arguments....

If we are made in God's image.... and that takes a bit of faith to believe.... then it doesn't matter what sexuality we are. If you are going to use the literal meaning of a translated bible then yes, God is every aspect of humanity and humanity is made up of the aspects of God. This means that even though we as humans are incomplete, we are not "wrong" for having cirten feelings and orientations.

Of course it is also in our human nature to fear and hate things we don't understand or that are different.... (sorry didn't mean to get preachy there....)

When the bible says man is created in God's image, it means physically, not sexually. God has no sexuality, as we think of sexuality. Mankind's sexuality is made mearly so that we may see what his role is as provider and protector.

God loves every and each individual...he doesn't hate someone who is a homosexual or bisexual etc.. He doesn't agree with it and in the Bible he says he intended for man and woman to be married. It is a sin though. God loves everyone he just wants everyone to be created in his image! He died on the cross for us, it's the least we can do. (Is to try to be like him!) :)

Not every thing in the Bible is "logical". How would you percieve miracles there in most part illogical. You should read Gods word. Any alteration to your body is a sin this includes sex change. God wanted you the way you were born not the way some doctor can alter you to be.

One particular image of God I want you to look at is the power of "choice". God did not create man to be a robot but He gave him the power of choice. Unfortunately, Adam chose evil! and since then sin has reigned in man. But thank God for the second Adam, Jesus Christ through whom man received redemption and forgiveness.
Today, you're still at liberty to make that choice!
You wanna be homo? Go ahead! or whatever you want to be, but don't bring God into it. It is your choice, just as it is your choice to receive Jesus as your second Adam.
Only remember that He that created us is GREATER and WISER than we are and will definitely reward us according to our choices!!!!!

I have made this point before, seems most fundamentalists really dislike this argument...but then again, they dislike any argument, especially if it is sane. Do not try to inject sanity into religion, the two just don't mix. Good luck
