Advice regarding the best way to use a cut throat type razor?

My only advice is that if you use this type of razor is that you should do it yourself (the only person you can really trust with your life).

Imagine if you let someone else shave you with this kind of straight razor and he or she is having a bad day.

One slip and oops, you're gone!
