It was awesome! Lets just hope they can hold it together for the next 3 games without Rooney and Scholes. Ronoldo will have to step his game up big time!

I think it was outstanding. Even though it was Fulham, not having Rooney and Scholes in the lineup was a serious confidence booster for the rest of the boys to get a win like this. Starting the season this way no matter who you play is always good.

Hmm...it was good, but I suspect they wanted to get the dreariness of the World Cup out of their system. Chelsea also...'twas a shame the first teams on the road to final victory at the end of the season were Man City and Fulham (who are, in their own way not too bad on good runs, but perpetually reside in the mid-lower bit of the table). As good as the victories are, it tells us nowt about the winners 90 minutes into the season. Let's see what early 2007 brings us.

being at the top after playing the worst team in the league means nothing, if thed beat chelsea 5 -0 then maybe but not fulham.

BRILLIANT, Im a Man United fan, i watched the match live, Man U had all the possesion, they fulham goal was an own goal it strongly deflected of ferdinand

Fulham will struggle to survive, even their fans know its true and their away form is brutal.
They'll be beaten a lot more like this during the year unfortunately.

Fulham were really poor. dont get excited sam, still 37 games left. u wont be laughing when u lose to bolton again. so zip it.
