Ewen Macgregor is always good (how does he fake so many different accents in so many movies) so i tried to give it the benefit of the doubt. The sets and the giant and stuff were pretty cool but as a whole the story was so like idk bland and lacking. any thoughts?

I was also disappointed. I think I waited too long to see it and heard too much hype. I thought the story was good and I agree, Ewen was very good but there was definitely missing and I am not sure what it was. Ultimately though, it did make me smile.

Then I am afraid you missed the essence of what Tim Burton was trying to convey.

Which is that your family, however quirky they may sound, is your true valuable asset. That lies sometime has some sort of truth. That you do not measure the value of a man by what he did, but what he should mean to you.

Big Fish is an excellent movie, and not only because Ewen Macgregor is in it -- although his presence sure does not hurt. What an actor!

even as Bella and Edward were operating randomly contained in the woods that became because of Alice's creative and prescient of the destiny even as they both are vampires. i concept the action picture became large even with the undeniable fact that the courting between Jacob and Bella could were a lot more proper and the section the position Bella's misses Edward could were so a lot extra less than pressure :) i got here across some aspects humorous as well like even as Bella sits contained in the chair and it purely says all the months. The ending became slightly rushed as well :)

If you had that kind of relationship with a family member then you would find it an excellent movie. All of this time, the son thought that his father never did anything with his life, and all of his stories were lies. Then, at the end, at his father funeral, he realizes that all of these people from the stories are real, and that his father did indeed make something of himself and touch the lives of others.

no, i actually loved it. It's probably in my top 5 favorite movies. I thought it was amazing, because it was so imaginative. I guess I already have an overactive imagination and I loved the idea of him changing the events in his life to more exciting ways. I loved how you learned so much more about Ewan's character through his imagination than you ever could have through "real" events. It was an amazing story about truly believing.

I saw it a couple of years ago, so I don't really remember much about it. From what I remember I liked it, but if I watched it now I might think differently.

Yeah. I thought because it was Tim Burton it would be good. Like all of his other movies! I guess they were good because of Johnny Depp, not because of Tim Burton huh? anyway, Yes. I was disappointed. Extremely.

The movie was different but it had some slow spots. I liked it but didn't like it enough to buy.
