I am restoring a 1978 Nova. Need help on rust and fillers. Try to be as specific as possible.

cut off the rust areas, and replace with steel. Fillers, like bondo will always crack. So I've heard. Need to be knowledgable in welding for the rust/steel portion.

if you cant weld in new panels,which would be the best...try a fiberglass filler called tiger hair,you can pick it up at most auto parts stores...
