so now i had to redownload itunes but now when i plug in my ipod to the computer and get on itunes none of the songs are in the library anymore and are only there while my ipod is connected but i cant do anything with them... so is there any way to get them from my ipod to the library or would i just have to put all of my cds in it again?

Its probably some sort of protection mechanism.

This is why I stay away from mp3 players that have to use a specific software, drag and drop is all you need.

You are going to have copy all of your cds again into the library. Next time, it might be a good idea to make a backup disk. Just an idea.

try to hit the import button but if that doesnt work ur probably gonna have to put in the cds again and after u do that i recomend u make a back up disk for ur computer

itunes does not keep a log of what you purchsed, so you cannot re-download them. There are a couple of third party software patches that you can use to upload back from your ipod tho. Try www.download.com and do a search.
