Give me one good reason other being a totall perve to look at girl "stuff" all day! I think only women should be able to be a gynecologist (unless there lesbo's) but really why should men be allowed to be gynolcolgist, its so not right >:( Is there anyone who agrees with me?

Well for one if there gay it deosent matter I still think it should be against the law for men to work apon women "parts" and I dont think women should look apon men "parts" either for those you've asked!

Why I am so uptight about it you ask? Because I know someone very close to me that was raped by her MALE gynecologist? I dont think that anyone can give me a good enough answer than to be total perves to pick that career path!

I mean for Men to pick that career path, People should have Gynecologist I understand that completly but it should be only women! Again I dont think anyone can give me a good enough answer to tell me why and man would pick that career path other than to be perves :(

well... its a specialty... like anything else.... some people prefer male GYN s.... not me though... I never go to a male .... another woman feels so much more comfortable to me!

I knew a guy who was a gynecologist. He is gay, so his opinion is a little les bias then other males who might answere this. He said the reason isn't so much an issue of perversion (but there are probobly some that are in it for perverse reasons), but simply because the field of medicine is so dominated by men.

Obviously there are many women who disagree with you. Otherwise, there would be no way for the men to have these jobs. They certainly should not be excluded just because of their gender, if you don't want to go to a male gyno, then don't. No one can force you to do so. My gyno is a male, he is very good at his job and in many years of experience he has never had a complaint. He is certainly not a perv either. I don't know what would make a man want to choose that career path. But I doubt that many of them are pervs.

I would never use a female gynecologist. They tend to be too rough, unsympathetic, and unable to treat special needs populations equitably. Male doctors of any stripe tend to be more professional and less rough on the equipment.

I agree with you but you cant really do much about it. My solution is to only go to female Gymecologists. Even if that doctor is a lesbian.. I'd still feel more comfortable around her than around a straight male Gynecologist.

It really depends on the women's preference. Most of the women in my family have men as their OB-GYN. I prefer a women, she knows what I have and can look and see other items that a male may tend to overlook or never look for! I do not like a women doctor too who I feel have stayed on a body part way too long.... hell just to the exam, talk to me and let me leave!

Well, one good reason is that OB/GYN is a very lucrative branch of medicine. Another reason is specialties in medicine are like subjects in school, everybody has one they are best at.
Also medical professionals see the body very objectively. It's not like there's going to be some 8th grader examining you going "huh huh lady parts huhuh"

Males are more gentle. Women gynecologists seem to be a lot more rough. I still prefer a woman, however.

Why can't there be male gynecologists?
What would you think if you found out that your female gynecologist was a lesbian? Would you think she was unprofessional and complain about her? Guess so!
Would you rather go to a male gynecologist if you knew he was gay?

I preffer male gynecologist over female. Males are more gentle.
