The other day I was watering my lawn when a stranger came up to me and said if I liked watering lawns so much, I should water my neighbors too. The lawn was right there so I watered it, i didn't mind. The next day the stranger told me to water a few more lawns, so I did. It still wasn't a big deal. Now he has me watering so many lawns, it takes several hours a day. I also found out who the stranger was. The answer is shocking and don't read on if you have any sort of health problems. The person who forces me to water all the lawns on my block is KARL JENNSON! (Karl is the owner of our local water provider, he's a nice man with a great family).

By you watering all the lawns at his request, made Mr. Jennson, realize what a good person you are. BUT, it takes a lot of nerve for him to ask you to do that. You are too gullible. It doesn't matter who or what he is, he didn't give a rats *** about you. If he would have told you to jump off a cliff , would you have ??
If he was so concerned for the others lawns, then why wasn't he doing it ? Was it your water and from your water bill, and if the water is free in you town, then no big deal. But if you had to pay for all the wate, then you shouldn't have done it. Even if he was the King of England, why would you accomade him ? He was making a fool out of you and you showed him your brown nose.

So because some stranger suggested it, you're not watering everybody else's lawn? And now you're nicely filling the pockets of your local water provider? So what are you upset about?

Sounds like Karl is out to get you. I would lock myself in the house and water lawns no more :)

He isn't forcing you to do anything. but he is making a fortune off of your stupidity. You should only water your lawn if there is not going to be any rain predicted in thenext 2 days, and then only in the early morning. So, stop wasting water!!!!

Don't water all the lawns anymore. Don't let someone make you feel that way. Next time he says that, say "Yeah, I like to water my lawn, keeps it looking nice" Then if he tells you to water more lawns, tell him to do it himself. Then tell him to mind his own business since you pay for your water...right?

Um, you're not being FORCED to water anybody's lawn. If the owner of a bridge came and asked you to jump off of it, would you?

He is only the local water provider...he has no hold over you...stop watering the lawns...some of your neighbors might enjoy dead grass.

Very funny, not serious. So, this is to let Karl see his name on yahoo answers then, right? No one is forcing you to do anything, but writing his name like this is great advertising since presumably he has a business of the same name.

Interesting. I noticed you haven't made it to my house yet, our lawn is rather brown. Go cross country watering lawns!
