Mr. Fantastic from Fantastic Four. His power is cool, I like his role as a scientist, and he seems to be a pretty regular guy who was thrust into the role of superhero and handled it ok.
Did I mention his character is married to Jessica Alba?

I'd have to go with Superman; he is a classic. He can fly, has superhuman strength/speed, x-ray vision and he fights for truth, justice, and the American way!
