It's normal. It's a pain, but it's completely normal.
I once read a statement that a pregnant woman's body works harder than a non-pregnant body climbing a mountain. I don't know how true it is, but it certainly feels true, doesn't it?
I hope that you soon feel better, all you can do is rest as much as you can.
Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Totally, totally normal. At that stage I was soooo sleepy. I'd wake up and no sooner want to lay down to have a nap. Your body is still reacting to the changes in your horomones and the new baby is using a lot of your energy and nutrients (as tiny as it is!)
As long as you are on your prenatals you are most likely fine and will feel better in a couple of weeks (your first trimester is almost over). At your next appt though I would tell your doc...he/she might want to test you for anemia or change up your prenatal if you still feel so tired. Good luck!

I am 13 weeks preg and I am experiencing the same thing. Even when I try to get a lot of rest, I still feel extremely tired. I guess this is something that preg women go through. Hopefully it will pass . . .

Yes. The placenta is just finishing forming and it's normal to be tired during that time. The 2nd trimester usually gives you a burst of energy, so enjoy those 3 months!

Make sure you're eating healthy and take your vitamins. Other than that the only thing you can do is sleep! I did the same thing. I had trouble explaining to ppl that i felt tired all the time. Its almost like they think you're just being lazy. Hang in there tho, you'll get your energy back soon!

Yes, you will feel tired because your baby is growing so rapidly right now and you are housing your growing baby.
