Ok, last night my phone had 2 bars left....and that was fine. but then all of a sudden i dropped it, and when i picked it back up, the whole phone just went black... i couldnt turn it back on at all...and i also dont know if the battery had something to do with it...so im just really confused on what to do. i have insurance on it... but to get another phone like that it costs $50.. which isnt that bad considering that u dont have to pay hundreds of dollars for another one. but my parents are going through " fianance problems" so they dont want to pay it. so i really dont know what to do now. so if anyone has any suggestions..please help me.. thank u.

like u r saying some ic got damaged i think and it can be repaired and u cant do anything for it.....either go to the cell phone company if its under warenty...they will repair it for free but if its warrnty expired then there is no other choice then buying new one ....

Cell Phones do not like gravity, they are very delicate. The screen turning black is most likely the screen "bleeding" which cannot be repaired only replaced.
I would remove the battery for about 10 minutes, then replace it and try to power it up. most likely it is dead though.
Also while you have the battery back in, try powering it on while its plugged into the charger, just to see if it shows any life..

Try taking the battery out and back in, then turn it on. If you have a sim card take that out and back in also. And hopfully you didn;t drop it in the toliet like my friend did. Insurance wouldn't cover it.

Charge it,if that doesn't work,bring it 2 the place where u got it.

try to charge it and if it still dont work take it to the place you bought it and if you need a new one save your own money and that would probably make your parents proud and it will make you look more responsible.
