Studies are showing that kids today who carry backpacks are getting terrible back problems from the weight.
However, " FASHION " ignores everything, and the terrible problems
from carrying 10 or 20+ extra pounds of boob or silicon around
are ignored - but not by the person who is carrying the weight -
they will have spinal problems.
As for the hormones, as long as the breasts are normal, the
chemical interaction is normal, you dont get more hormones with more breast to any studied opinion that is published.

Back problems are definitely an issue. In terms of nursing, a large or fatty breast _could_ be a really minor advantage in terms of lactation (increased fat storage in breast = increased chance of being able to produce milk in a famine-type situation). Other circumstances being equal, though, size of the breast has nothing to do with ability to produce milk or its quality.

No biological effect, but definitely a physical one. Neck, shoulder and back pain all the time....night and day. I have to deal with this and every time I hear about someone getting huge breast implants I think they have no idea what they're getting into.

im not a woman but in my experience i notice girls with a or b cups socially withdrawn more so than girls with c or d cups
i dont think it effects girls biologically but mentally/ emotionally i think they feel inadequately endowed
ive heard alot of small breasted girls say "if i had a c cup i'd be more confident". probably because they see how large breasted women get attention from guys. personally, breasts dont make the girl..attitude makes the girl...

Some women have breast reduction because of back problems due to large breasts.

I don't know about hormones, but the larger a woman's breasts are, the greater chance she has for back problems.
