Absolutely not! First of all, it would probably die. The stress alone would kill it, and who wants to receive a package with a dead box turtle in it? Second of all, box turtles usually never stray further than a two-mile radius of where they are born. Taking it from it's natural habitat would be devastating to the turtle and it would never become oriented to it's new surroundings. It has what it needs where it is. Leave it alone!
You can, however, safely send a PICTURE of the box turtle wherever you like!

you can ship thru UPS or FedEx... but you should do some research before you do. you cant just throw it in a box and mail it. you have to make sure the turtle will survive transport. (also, i would check to make sure it is LEGAL to ship that paticular kind of turtle out of state, or into the state that its going.)

It would be a really bad idea. See the post office guidelines (they are on the net). Remember, box turtles are also known as snapping turtles. They are really cute when little and take nips. But when fully grown, those jaws are a real weapon.

My sister had 3 boxed turtles shipped this way...they were packed in mulch and it was an overnight delivery.

Some box turtles are protected wildlife, so you might want to check that out first.
