i have xecuter mod chip and i need to block my 120 gb hd from xbl i will play with an original disc?

I have switches on my mod chip and know how to turn it off what should i do to block my hard drive. i have no intention of cheating on xbl just trying to play halo 2 with the real disc. What would be the safest way of gettting on thanks
