Unless you're a doll collector, I'd stay away from any collectibles that you both liked to collect and knew something about. :-)

I seriously doubt it; they seem to be marketing thousands now. It's not an antique and you probably won't live long enough to make it precious. But what do I know? You had better talk to someone in the trade.

Don't buy it as an investment. It is not. At best it would be a speculation. If you like it and want it go ahead and buy it. Many people do. It won't bankrupt you, even if it is worthless.

Bidding at $8, its worth a try depending on how much bidding goes, at 8 dollars I would buy if it wasnt worth anything. lol

buy stuff like this cause you like looking at it. if you sell for a profit later on, then that's just gravy.
